Everything you need to know before booking your shared session.
Booking is very easy: choose the type of orchestra/ensemble you need, choose session length and the intended date range. Please attach the score if it’s ready—it will help us check everything and confirm your booking sooner.
After you’ve made the booking we will contact you to discuss your project in greater detail. When everything is sorted out we will send you the invoice. A 100% advance payment is necessary to confirm the booking. Payment can be made by card or bank transfer.

Here is a rough estimation of needed recording time:
- 30-minute session – 3 minutes of recorded music
- 60-minute session – 6 minutes of recorded music
- 90-minute session – 9 minutes of recorded music
- 120-minute session – 12 minutes of recorded music
This is a general guideline. The actual time necessary to record your music is determined by the complexity of the music, the quality of engraving, and the instructions you might give during recording. If you are not sure how much time to book email us at hello@orchestrascoring.com. Please attach the score if it’s ready, and we will help you decide.
We suggest making the booking at least 30 days before the planned session. This is necessary to check the score and sort everything out. You can also book a shared session less than 30 days before the planned date. In any case we will contact you, discuss the specifics, and possibly suggest a more suitable date for recording.
All the recording sessions are held from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Moscow time (GMT+3). For an individual session the time will be agreed when you make the booking. If you book a slot in a shared session you will be notified of the time 3 days before the recording date.
To join our live stream, you will need a computer with a stable Internet connection (recommended connection speed is 8 Mbps or more), preferably the latest Internet browser (we recommend using Google Chrome), a mic, Zoom app. Please make sure to install all the necessary software before the session starts. You will receive a download link to the multitrack files. Usually, the multitrack includes Decca Tree mics, several ambient mics and several spot mics. The files will be made available for download 3 days after the session: this time is necessary for final quality control and to upload the files to the file-sharing website. We keep files for 30 days after the recording date.
All rights in the recording belong to you. You can use them at your discretion without paying any additional fees or royalties.
